College Ministry

The Well is a Christian community that meets on the campus of Austin Peay. We believe that the Gospel is life-changing and that Jesus’ heart is for all people to know and experienced His Father. Our hope is that The Well would be a place where people find community as well as a place where they can learn and explore more about what it means to live life in relationship with Jesus Christ. And in this, understanding how the Gospel plays a part in every area of our lives. All college aged students are invited to our gatherings on campus and outside events.

Come and experience grace that changes everything.

What To Expect

When you first arrive on a Thursday night we usually take our time getting started. The beginning of our nights together involve coffee and cookies and some time for people to connect with one another.

From there we go to our message, at The Well we believe in being simple and significant and this plays out most in our messages. Our messages are around 15 minutes and focused on helping students better understand the Bible.

We end by having small groups divided by male and female. At The Well we also are a place where everyone is accepted and expected– meaning that regardless of where you are in your relationship with Jesus you are welcomed but we also want and expect you to grow in that relationship. Small groups is a place where this takes place as you discuss the content from the message and are able to discuss any questions or thoughts about what you are learning.

The purpose behind all that we do on a Thursday night is that the student would either learn for the first time or be reminded that Jesus changes lives and that we are all able to experience grace that changes everything.
