Disaster Relief

Thank you all for your prayers and concern during this historic flooding.
We are partnering with our outreach friends at YaiPaks to provide assistance in the coming weeks to neighborhoods directly affected by the flooding.
We will continue to post updates here over the next few days. Let’s keep praying for the waters to recede and for everyone to safely return to their homes soon.
Update – 4-11-2025
Important Update Regarding This Sunday’s Services
We’re saddened to share that we will be unable to gather for in-person worship this Sunday. Our team has worked diligently all week to clear the water from our building, and we’ve been monitoring the floodwaters around our parking lot and on Dunlop Lane with hope. Unfortunately, it is still not possible to guarantee safe access via Dunlop Lane, and the parking situation has not improved as we had anticipated.
We encourage you to take a moment to watch this brief video update on the current flooding situation in and around our church.
While in-person services are canceled this Sunday, we will be streaming Week 7 of our “I Am” series online at both 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. This is a great opportunity to prepare your heart for Holy Week, even from home.
Although in-person services are canceled for this Sunday, we are hopeful and excited to celebrate Easter together next weekend, on Sunday, April 20th, with services at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Additionally, we invite you to our traditional Good Friday Come-and-Go Communion on Friday, April 18th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Let’s look ahead with hope to a joyful Easter celebration next week!
Flooding Update – Impact on Our Church Building
We wanted to share an update regarding the impact of the recent flooding on Dunlop Lane and how it has affected our church building. Despite our best efforts to keep the water out, it has unfortunately made its way into the auditorium. With standing floodwaters against the north side of our facility, water has begun to seep inside.
We are working diligently to dry out the building, but like many of our neighbors, we are at the mercy of the waters receding. It is our hope to be able to gather together on Sunday morning. We are doing everything possible to ensure that Dunlop Lane is open to drivers, our parking lot is accessible, and our auditorium is ready for worship.
We will keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as we can if we are able to meet this Sunday. In the meantime, please pray that the water levels would go down and that the forecast remains clear of rain in the coming weeks.
If you would like to help, a great way to do so is by supporting YAIPak Outreach. They are actively assembling disaster relief packages and sending out teams to assist. Many people from Grace have already joined them in volunteering. You can contact them directly at:
