Welcome to Week 2 of Grace in the Word- Galatians.

As we prepare to look at chapter two of Paul’s letter to the church in Galatia take time to check out our recap video from week 1, go back and catch up on any day’s reading you might have missed last week, and continue to prioritize time in reading the passage of the day for Galatians.

This week we see Paul continue to explain his journey of conversion and living for the one true gospel. He explains how he has combatted against the “influential” Jewish leaders that are preaching a false gospel. He even highlights a time where he spoke out against Peter, because of his attitude towards the gentiles when the Jewish influencers were around. Paul spends a large amount of time in this week’s chapter explaining the temptations he has faced to return/believe in a false gospel, but through it all he persevered and ends this chapter’s writings by reminding and encouraging the Galatians to do the same. He encourages them, and us today, to remember that we are free and justified by faith, not works. Seek to dive deep into this chapter this week and rest in its truths, so that your daily life might be transformed in the name of Jesus.
